Camp at Waitomo caves. Time to see the layers of the earth from the underside! Glowworms and abseiling were awesome.

We were lucky enough to go on a class trip to see the earthworks that are being done for the new highway bypass. Big machines, big tyres, big holes and lots of opportunities to see the layers formed in the earth showing all the different soil types. Big thanks to our three Fletchers guides – they were amazing!
