Parents Association
The Waikato Waldorf Parents’ Association (WWPA) was formed exclusively for charitable purposes in order to:
- Support, advance and encourage the Waikato Waldorf School (“School”), Miro House Kindergartens for education and learning
- Support, advance and encourage Rudolf Steiner (Waldorf) Education
Use of funds:
- It is intended that all funds raised by WWPA shall only be used for charitable purposes within New Zealand
- The funds shall only be applied for the purposes of supporting and carrying out the aims and objects set out above
- It is intended that funds shall not be applied towards the School’s normal operating expenses such as staff salaries, electricity and telephone rentals
Members and meetings:
- Members of the WWPA are parents of children who attend our playcircles, kindergartens and primary school
- Meetings are held monthly. Decisions about where funds will be used are also made at these meetings
- The meetings are also a forum for discussions about current issues within the Waldorf community
